Lightweight, simple, low-fi materials are the basic ingredients of the modular light sculpture designed for Regione Piemonte meeting point at French festival Chalon Dans la Rue, one of the most important public art festivals in Europe, with more than 400.000 visitors and 1.000 invited artists. A grapes framework evoking both natural shapes and artificial structures, whose fruits shine a green light in the night, transforming the installation into a bright landmark. During the days of the festival, at the meeting point, hundreds of luminous green balls were given away to the visitors and spread through Chalon, in a spontaneous action of viral pollination.
