Emerging from Disorder is a browsing tool for Flickr photos that works on disordering instead of ordering items. It allows the disordering of a set of photos to enhance free visual association as a tool for discovery and inspiration. The software aims to allow emergence from chaos.
Data visualisation is one of the core topics of contemporary interaction design. The focus of data visualisation is on how to give easy access to an incredible amount of data through intelligent organising, tagging, clustering, filtering; the problem is how to create order from all this data.
