CIID was hired to conduct inspirational research about the On Time Delivery Culture around the world, and later to apply the knowledge gathered to design and develop a data visualization tool around the topic.
After this first, successful project, CIID worked on different applications of data visualization around different topics: researching, designing and developing the final products.

The process CIID follows consist in a tight dialogue with the client and different knowledge carriers inside the company that are based in different parts of the world.
In the early stages, CIID conducts research through interviews, co-design sessions and workshops, cultural props and exercises. In this way, CIID gains a deep understanding on how Maersk intricate system works, and is therefore able to translate the system in graphical visualizations.

The design phase continues with iteration of increasingly higher definition wireframes and prototypes. The final deliverables are fully working applications that are deployed world wide and used by a various range of people inside the company.
