When natural catastrophes occur, many people are separated from their loved ones. When the infrastructure is destroyed it is hard to find out if your relatives and friends are safe. The brief for this project was to make a mobile application that would function without connectivity in a disaster environment.

We presented two different scenarios: the first was about how the information is gathered by mobile phones, and then displayed in strategic places, using an ad hoc local network.

The second scenario was taking into account a restored internet access, that would allow for remote access of the same information.

We built an interactive prototype using Nada mobile and focused on making the mobile application interface as simple as possible, with easily accessible information. We also prototype the website of the service.
